|What I am capable of when I become a new man in Christ?|
Colossians 3 teaches people to seek things that are above and not the things that are on the earth. We need to put off anger, wrath, malice, and blasphemy. Putting on the new man means putting on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, and bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. Love, in particular, characterizes God’s children.
What comes next? “Let the peace of God rule your hearts … Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly … Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the Father” (Colossians 3:15-17.
